Four Diamond Jackets Tabbed to All-ODAC Teams

5/7/2026 4:00:00 PM

FOREST, VA. – After finishing with above a .500 win percentage in the 17th consecutive season, Randolph-Macon Baseball saw four Yellow Jackets selected to the ODAC All-Conference squads.

Randolph-Macon had three juniors selected to the All-ODAC Second Team, with one senior named to the All-ODAC Third Team. Right fielder Jack Bowles (Mechanicsville, Va./Hanover), starting pitcher Peter Philips (Virginia Beach, Va./Ocean Lakes) and first baseman Zach Stolze (Towson, Md./Loyola Blakefield) clinched second team recognition, while catcher Logan Duff (Forest, Valley./Liberty Christian) earned third team honors.

After being selected to the third team last year, Bowles elevated himself to the second team in 2026, clinching his second consecutive conference honor. The junior led the team in batting average (.380), walks (35) and on base percentage (.522), all of which representing single season career-highs. As a result of starting all 38 of RMC's games so far, he reached a personal-high 52 hits.

For the first time in his career, Philips was named to an all-conference team, after having himself a career year. In eight starts, the starting pitcher went 7-1, giving up only 27 earned runs during his 13 appearances. He posted a career-low 3.88 earned run average in 2026, slotting him sixth in the ODAC this season. Additionally, after logging a personal-high 62.2 innings of work, he surrendered only 18 walks compared to his career-high 61 strikeouts.

Stolze inserted himself on the All-ODAC Second Team in his first season as a Yellow Jacket, leading the Lemon and Black with 10 doubles, resulting in the third-highest slugging percentage on the team (.492). His season was highlighted by a three-hit, five-RBI contest on the road against Averett, as his home run and double pushed RMC to a 10-8 victory in 11 innings. He was also versatile for Randolph-Macon, finishing second on the team in RBI (34) and hit by pitches (15).

As the Yellow Jackets starting catcher, Duff posted career numbers across the board, as he led the Yellow Jackets in OPS (.976), RBI (37) and slugging percentage (.516). The senior also worked for personal-bests in games started (31), hits (47), runs (33), on base percentage (.460), walks (16) and stolen bases (three). Defensively, he also caught eight runners stealing, marking the most in his career.

Third-seeded RMC is scheduled to face second-seeded Shenandoah on Thursday, May 7, at 6:30 p.m. on day one of the double-elimination ODAC Championship at Capital One Park in Tysons, Va.
