The Yellow Jackets had two outs in the inning, but Payton Jensen doubled in Ord to get the Hornets on the board. Shenandoah scored the final run of the inning on a Cadence Rieg single to score McQueeney, as Randolph-Macon held a slim 4-3 lead.
  • Shenandoah had Paige Eagleton double to leadoff the third inning and she would later score on a Kelly Hartman fielders choice. The one run tied up the game at 4-4.
