ASHLAND, Va. – Randolph-Macon men's lacrosse has been named as one of eight schools to make it to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference postseason tournament.
RMC, sitting at 13-4 (7-3), will play a Quarterfinal game on Monday, April 27. The Yellow Jackets will travel to Hampden-Sydney with the first face off at 5:00 p.m. The two teams faced off earlier this season on March 7, in a game that saw three overtime periods with the Tigers earning an 8-9 victory.
The Yellow Jackets earned the fifth seed with key conference wins over Washington and Lee, Shenandoah and Virginia Wesleyan. The Yellow Jackets have only given up man-up goals five times on 47 attempts, which ranks number four in the country and number one in the conference. The defense also ranks 24th in the country and second in the conference for caused turnovers per game with 12.13.
There will be no charge for tickets for Monday's Quarterfinal matchup.
