FOREST, Va. – The Old Dominion Athletic Conference has released the women's lacrosse preseason coaches poll for the 2026 campaign, and RMC has been picked fourth for the third year in a row, receiving 74 points. The Yellow Jackets are heading into the 13th season under the tenure of head coach MK Geratowski.

Winners of 15 consecutive ODAC tournament championships, Washington and Lee, sit atop the poll, receiving 9 of the 11 first-place votes and 99 total points. ODAC Runner-up, Shenandoah, gathered two first-place votes and 92 points. Roanoke sits third with 81 points, with the Yellow Jackets trailing with 74. Lynchburg rounds out the top five with 64 points overall. 

Bridgewater is picked sixth with 55 points, one spot ahead of Virginia Wesleyan with 46. Eastern Mennonite (34), Guilford (30), Randolph (19) and Sweet Briar (11) conclude the final four spots in the preseason poll.

RMC opens the season on Saturday, February 14, as they host Hood College for a non-conference matchup at 1 p.m. The first of a two-game homestand that ends with Mary Washington on Wednesday, February 18, at 6:00 p.m.
