- It only took Hailey Pierce (Mechanicsville, Va./Mechanicsville) 30 seconds to ignite the scoring for the Yellow Jackets. Cami McNeally (Severna Park, Md./Archbishop Spalding) doubled the Yellow Jackets' total at the 13:29 mark. On a free position shot with 10:26 left in the first period, Brooklyn Ricker (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis) netted the first goal of her college career. Despite the man-down situation, Sophomore Campbell Conway (Annapolis, Md./St. Mary's) put one away, giving the Lemon and Black a four-goal advantage with 9:27 to play in the first quarter. Toth increased the Yellow Jackets' lead to five with a goal in the seventh-minute. At the 6:13 mark of the first quarter, Julia Gregory got the Blazers on the board. Ricker beat the Blazers keeper on a free-position shot in the sixth minute for her second goal of the contest. Lilly Fowler (Phoenix, Md./Notre Dame Prep) and Toth both scored in the last 4 minutes of the first quarter, giving RMC an 8-1 advantage after 15 minutes.
- The Blazers started the scoring in the second quarter with a goal from Maggie Merrill. Fowler responded a minute later with her second goal of the game, lifting the score to 9-2. Gregory brought Hood within six with a goal at the 11:26 mark, but Fowler extended the lead to seven with a goal set up by Pierce in the 12th-minute. In the seventh-minute, Fowler set up Toth for her third goal, completing the hat-trick and putting the Yellow Jackets ahead 11-3. Gregory responded again for the Blazers at the 5:57 mark. With under 4:00 to play in the half, Pierce scored on a free-position shot, which was quickly followed up by another goal from Toth, assisted by Fowler. RMC headed into halftime with a 13-4 lead.
- The first goal of the second half came from McNeally in a man-down situation at the 11:16 mark. Using a pass from Fowler, Conway took advantage of a man-up scenario, putting away her second goal with 9:02 to play in the third period. Fowler used a pass from Pierce to net her fourth goal of the game at the 4:28 mark. The Yellow Jacket defense would hold strong for the remainder of the third quarter, maintaining a 16-4 lead.
- The final fifteen started with two quick goals from the Blazers. Toth buried her fifth goal of the game with 4:51 to play. Grayson Cornelius (Glenwood, Md./Glenelg High School) scored the first goal of her career in the Lemon and Black, with the help of a Lina Donoway (Chester, Md./Kent Island) assist, with under three minutes to play.
