2/2/2026 11:17:00 AM

ASHLAND, Va. – The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its Division III Men's Lacrosse Preseason All-America teams and Randolph-Macon is represented by two athletes. Senior Mike Allen (Williamsburg, Va./Jamestown) collected first-team honors, while senior Brodie Kent (Coquitlam, Canada/Centennial) collected third-team honors.

Allen, a two-time all-American from the 2024 and 2025 spring seasons, was named preseason second team by USA Lacrosse Magazine, while earning a first team nod by USILA. Last season, Allen finished third in the ODAC with 32 caused turnovers. He also finished third on the team and 15th in the league with 69 ground balls to help him pick up an ODAC Defensive Player of the Year and All-ODAC First Team nod.

Kent has been named to the Preseason All-America Third Team by USILA, following his first All-America honorable mention nod last season. The long stick midfielder was second on the team with 79 ground balls, tallying 37 of them against conference matchups, finishing top 10 in the ODAC. The LSM was second on the Jackets with 28 caused turnovers in 2025. His breakout year helped him collect All-Conference honors for the second consecutive season.

The Yellow Jackets open the 2026 season Saturday, February 7, against Sewanee at noon on Day Field.
