ASHLAND, Va. – Randolph-Macon Men's Basketball moved to the #8 spot in the D3Hoops.com Top-25 poll, following a 1-1 week.
The Yellow Jackets are No. 9 in the first set of NCAA Power Index (NPI) rankings, the metric used by the Division III basketball committee for at-large selections as well as for seeding for the NCAA Tournament.

The team began last week with a tough road game against conference foe Virginia Wesleyan. Randolph-Macon held the lead for the majority of the game, but a last second shot by the Marlins proved to be the decider. The Lemon and Black would fall by a 65-64 score.
Randolph-Macon ended the week with a huge road victory over Randolph, 94-36. The Yellow Jackets had all 13 eligible players score in the game. The team hit 13 three-pointers and recorded 29 assists on 35 made field goals.
The Lemon and Black are now 15-2 (6-2) on the season and will begin the week with a home matchup with Eastern Mennonite on Wednesday, January 28 and end the week with a trip to Washington and Lee on Saturday, January 31.
