Six RMC Men's Lacrosse Players named to USILA All-America Teams

Men's Lacrosse Doubles Program Record with Six All-Americans

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Randolph-Macon Men's Lacrosse has set a new program record with six All-America honorees by United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA), eclipsing their previous record of three All-Americans, set last year. Junior Mike Allen (Williamsburg, Va./Jamestown) leads the way with a Second Team All-America nod.

Allen was a dominant force for the Yellow Jackets' defense all season, earning his second career Second Team All-America accolade. The junior posted 69 ground balls and a team-leading 32 caused turnovers in 2025. He also showed prowess on the offensive side, scoring nine goals and dishing six assists for 15 points on the season. Allen is the program's all-time leader in caused turnovers (99) and is in the top 20 of career ground balls (174) through just three seasons. He was previously named a Third Team All-American by USA Lacrosse and ODAC Defensive Player of the Year following the season.
 
Senior Cooper Hauser (Charlottesville, Va./Monticello) is one of five Yellow Jackets players to be named Honorable Mention All-Americans. As a long pole on the defense, Hauser collected 41 ground balls and was third on the team with 24 caused turnovers, despite playing just 16 of the 20 games. He also posted nine points on the year with five goals and four assists. Hauser was named to the All-ODAC Third Team this season as well.
 
Senior Avery Tankersley (Baltimore, Md./Boys Latin) led the RMC attack this season, posting 74 points on 38 goals and 36 assists, leading the team in all three categories. He finished with 12 multi-goal games and five games with three or more goals. Over a stretch of five games from March 26-April 9, Tankersley totaled 29 points and had three straight four-goal games. The senior was named to the All-ODAC First Team following the season and grabs his second consecutive Honorable Mention All-America accolade.
 
Junior Brodie Kent (Coquitlam, Canada/Centennial) earns Honorable Mention All-America honors for the first time in his career. He was second on the Yellow Jackets with 79 ground balls and 28 caused turnovers out of the LSM position. From March 29-April 29, Kent filled the stat sheet with 43 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers, helping the Yellow Jackets close the conference season. Kent was named to the All-ODAC First Team earlier this season.
 
Sophomore Will Robertson (Lutherville, Md./Calvert Hall) led the RMC faceoff efforts on his way to an Honorable Mention All-America selection. Robertson was 10th nationally with a .684 faceoff win percentage, winning 195 of 285 attempts. The sophomore led RMC with 121 ground balls, the fifth most in a single season in program history, and scored five goals on the year. His 195 faceoff wins and .684 faceoff win percentage rank second in program history for a single season. The sophomore was named to the All-ODAC Third Team following the season.
 
Sophomore Grant Sobel (Mechanicsville, Va./Christchurch) also earned his first Honorable Mention All-America honor. He finished with 42 points on the year, scoring 27 goals and dishing 15 assists out of the midfield. He tied the team-high of six man-up goals, helping boost the 24th-best man-up offense in the country. Sobel was honored as an All-ODAC Second Team member this season for his efforts in conference play.
 
The Yellow Jackets finished the year 12-8 overall and went 6-4 in ODAC play. They defeated Guilford and Hampden-Sydney in the ODAC Tournament to make their second straight ODAC semifinals appearance, taking top-seeded Washington and Lee to overtime.
