LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) has announced the 2025 Division III Scholar All-Americans for Men's Lacrosse. After another successful season, RMC Men's Lacrosse has one player honored as Scholar All-American.

Senior Avery Tankersley (Baltimore, Md./Boys Latin) has been named as a USILA Scholar All-American. The Maryland native posted 74 points on 38 goals and 36 assists, leading the team in all three categories. He finished with 12 multi-goal games and five games with three or more goals. Over a stretch of five games from March 26-April 9, Tankersley totaled 29 points and had three straight four-goal games. The senior was named to the All-ODAC First Team following the season and grabs his second consecutive Honorable Mention All-America accolade. Tankersley graduated in May with a degree in Business Finance and a minor in Communications.

"Avery has embodied everything we look for in our athletes on and off the field. He has been an excellent student, leader, teammate, and member of our campus while also being an All-American midfielder and Attackman over the last two seasons. His four years on the field were incredible and he matched every bit of that effort academically and deserves this recognition," said head coach JB Sheridan.

A Scholar All-American must be nominated by his coach and be a student with a senior year academic standing and a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (4.0 scale). He will have behaved in a manner that has brought credit to himself, his institution, and to college lacrosse both on and off the field. He must also be an All-American, a member of a North/South team, or an outstanding league or conference player.

RMC had two Scholar All-Americans in 2024 and one in 2023 and three in 2022.
