ASHLAND, Va. – Logan Sinsebox (Monkton, Md./Hereford) and
Avery Tankersley (Baltimore, Md./Boys Latin) combined for 13 points as Randolph-Macon Men's Lacrosse breezed by Virginia Wesleyan 21-1 on Wednesday evening.

How it Happened
- Brodie Kent (Coquitlam, Canada/Centennial) got the scoring started with a goal from point blank just 12 seconds into the game. RMC's offense continued to start hot, as one minute later, Grant Sobel (Mechanicsville, Va./Christchurch) netted the Jackets' second goal of the game. The next two goals went to Tankersley to double the RMC lead to 4-0, while Sinsebox made the lead 5-0 at 6:16 to go, with the final goal of the opening frame.
- Sinsebox scored two more goals in the opening four minutes of the second quarter. JT Harvey (Ruther Glen, Va./Riverbend) joined the scoring to make the lead 8-0, and was followed by Matt Carter (Glen Allen, Va./Deep Run) adding to the lead with 7:11 until half. Sobel's second goal and Tankersley's hat trick goal followed to push the lead to 11-0. Matthew Sutty (Hockessin, Del./Salesianum) scored the final tally of the half as a man-up goal with 1:14 left to give RMC a 12-0 halftime lead.
- Just 24 seconds into the second half, Sobel completed his hat trick, followed by Peyton Rodriguez (Santa Barbara, Ca./Bishop Diego Garcia) scoring his first goal of the contest. Tankersley's fourth goal came 26 seconds later to push the lead to 15-0. Harvey, Rodriguez, and Sutty continued the onslaught, each scoring their second goals of the game. VWU got on the board with 5:21 to go in the third frame, but RMC would score once more, this time from Beau Wojciechowski with 1:24 left to take a 19-1 lead into the fourth.
- RMC would pile two more goals onto their lead in the fourth quarter. Jacob MacMillan (Fallston, Md./Fallston) netted a goal with 8:58 left, followed by Ben Tomasic (New Freedom, Pa./Susquehannock) scoring the final goal of the game with 1:36 left to give RMC the 21-1 win.
Inside the Numbers
- Sinsebox led the team with a career-high seven points. He had three goals, four assists, three ground balls, and a caused turnover.
- Tankersley added his fourth six-point performance in the last five games, scoring four goals and two assists. He scored his four goals on four shots and had four ground balls.
- Sobel scored his third hat trick of the season, including a man-up goal.
- Mike Allen (Williamsburg, Va./Jamestown) dominated the defensive side of the ball with six ground balls and four caused turnovers. He also added an assist.
- Cooper Hauser (Charlottesville, Va./Monticello) picked up four ground balls and had three caused turnovers.
- Will Robertson (Lutherville, Md./Calvert Hall) went 12-14 on faceoffs and had five ground balls.
- Kent picked up five ground balls and added a goal.
