DURHAM, N.C. – The Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) announced its 2026 All-Region teams on Monday, and Randolph-Macon was represented by
Mike Allen (Williamsburg, Va./Jamestown) and
Brodie Kent (Coquitlam, Canada/Cenntenial).
Allen, a First Team USILA All-American, was tabbed Region Four Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Region, adding to his post season accolades. He led the Yellow Jackets in ground balls (87) and caused turnovers (47). His 47 caused turnovers help cement his name at the top spot of the record book with 143 ground balls. In the final seven games of the season, Allen recorded 18 caused turnovers, averaging 2.57 per game. In the Yellow Jacket's biggest win of the season against #17 Washington and Lee he recorded two ground balls two shots and two caused turnovers.
Kent was named Second Team All-Region, Pairing the honor with being a USILA All-American Honorable Mention. In his senior Campaign, he amassed 57 ground balls and 37 caused turnovers, during the season finishing second among Yellow Jacket defenseman. In the final month of conference play, He filled the stat sheet with 26 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers. He made contributions on the offensive side of the ball as well, recording six points overall on four goals and two assists.
The Yellow Jackets finished the year 13-5 overall and went 7-3 in ODAC play. The Lemon and Black produced a top five man down defense in the country and ranked 15th nationally for clearing percentage (.890) and 25th nationally in caused turnovers per game (11.78)
