LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Randolph-Macon Men's Lacrosse has three players named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) All-American teams. Senior
Mike Allen (Williamsburg, Va./Jamestown) leads the way with a First Team All-America nod.
Allen was a dominant force for the Yellow Jackets' defense all season, earning his first career First Team All-America accolade, pairing it with two Second Team nods. The senior posted 87 ground balls and a team-leading 47 caused turnovers in 2026. He also showed prowess on the offensive side, scoring six goals and dishing out eight assists for 14 points on the season. Allen is the program's all-time leader in caused turnovers (143) and is in the top five of career ground balls (255). He was previously named a Third Team All-American by USA Lacrosse and ODAC Defensive Player of the Year following the season.
Senior
Brodie Kent (Coquitlam, Canada/Centennial) earns Honorable Mention All-America honors for the second consecutive season. He was second among the Yellow Jackets' defensemen with 57 ground balls and 37 caused turnovers. From March 28-April 27, Kent filled the stat sheet with 26 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers. He added six points on the offensive end on four goals and two assists, helping the Yellow Jackets close the conference season. Kent was named to the All-ODAC First Team earlier this season.
Junior
Grant Sobel (Mechanicsville, Va./Christchurch) also earned his second consecutive Honorable Mention All-America honor. He finished with a team-high 65 points on the year, scoring 33 goals and dishing 32 assists out of the midfield. The Mechanicsville native recorded 11 multi-goal games this season, recording a hat-trick in five. Sobel was honored as an All-ODAC Second Team member this season for his efforts in conference play.
The Yellow Jackets finished the year 13-5 overall and went 7-3 in ODAC play. They defeated #17 Washington and Lee en route to securing the program's first nationally ranking this season.
