SWEET BRIAR, Va. - Randolph-Macon women's lacrosse finished with three different hat-tricks and a ten point performance from
Lilly Fowler (Pheonix, Md./Notre Dame Prep) to throttle Sweet Briar on the road 24-0.

How It Happened
- Randolph-Macon scored in the first twenty seconds with a Taylor Mittelstadter (Chesterfield, Va./Manchester) assisted goal by Fowler. Hailey Pierce (Mechanicsville, Va./Mechanicsville) found the back of the net twenty seconds later to double the lead for the Yellow Jackets. Four more goals were scored before the ten minute park by the Lemon and Black to push their lead to 6-0. Rianna Lowery (Bel Air, Md./Notre Dame Prep) and Fowler each scored two goals during the run to add to their stat lines. Six more goals were scored in the final ten minutes of the first quarter by Randolph-Macon to mount a 12-0 lead after the opening fifteen minutes. The goals were scored by six different Yellow Jackets, Fowler and Lowery led the team with four points each in the quarter with two goals and two assists.
- In the second quarter, the Lemon and Black netted seven more goals to increase their lead to 19-0 going into halftime. Reese Toth (Edgewater, Md./South River) scored back-to-back goals at the 6:58 and 3:45 mark to record her first hat-trick of her career. Lowery's goal at the 2:08 mark sent her into her sixth hat-trick of her senior season. Fowler assisted two goals in each quarter to add to her two goals, putting her at six first half points to lead Randolph-Macon.
- The Yellow Jackets added to the dominant evening with five goals in the third quarter. Evie McNeally (Severna Park, Md./Archbishop Spalding) led the way with two goals and the goals gave her the third hat-trick of her senior season. Campbell Conway (Annapolis, Md./St. Mary's), Cami McNeally (Severna Park, Md./Archbishop Spalding) and Elaina Creekmore (Pasadena, Md./Old Mill) all accounted for the other three goals. The contest would be called final after the conclusion of the third quarter and Randolph-Macon took home a 24-0 victory.
By The Numbers
- Randolph-Macon outshot Sweet Briar 32-1 in the entire game. The Yellow Jackets also went 3-for-3 in clear attempts.
- The Lemon and Black won the draw control battle with 21 to the Vixens 5. Randolph-Macon also won in overall ground balls 9-to-3.
- Fowler led the team in points with ten overall in the game, scoring two goals and recording eight assists. The junior bested her career mark in points (9) that she tallied against Randolph last week. The eight assists is also a career high for the Maryland native.
- Evie McNeally, Lowery and Toth all ended the game with hat-tricks for the Yellow Jackets. Lowery also added two assists and five draw controls to her score line to total five points overall.
- Anna Snoddy (Palmyra, Va./Fluvanna County), Mittelstadter, Pierce and Creekmore all notched multi-goal games with two goals each. Pierce also had two caused turnovers, two draw controls and a ground ball.
- Jordyn Schwartz (Reisterstown, Md./St. Paul's) and Lina Donoway (Chester, Md./Kent Island) each scored and assisted a goal for two points. Natalie Moul (Haymarket, Va./Battlefield) and Conway both scored a goal for the Lemon and Black.
- Sydney Walsh (Bel Air, Md./John Carroll) was tough on the defensive end with two caused turnovers.
- Gillian Gladden (Taneytown, Md./Francis Scott Key), Ellen Stark (McLean, Va./Oakcrest) and MJ Tucker (Raleigh, N.C./Athens Drive) saw time in goal for the Lemon and Black in 45 minutes.
For the Record
- Fowler moved into eighth all-time in single season assists with 39 on the season, passing Carrie Winkler's 36 assists in the 1999 season.
