Avery Tankersley combined for eight goals as Randolph-Macon Men's Lacrosse rolled past Bridgewater in ODAC play on Saturday.

How it Happened
- It took just 36 seconds of game time for Avery Tankersley (Baltimore, Md./Boys Latin) to get RMC on the board for the first goal of the game. Grant Sobel (Mechanicsville, Va./Christchurch) tallied a goal one minute later before Tankersley netted his second of the frame with 9:36 remaining in the first. Logan Sinsebox (Monkton, Md./Hereford) concluded the first quarter scoring less than a minute later as RMC led 4-0 through 15 minutes of play.
- Peyton Rodriguez (Santa Barbara, Ca./Bishop Garcia Diego) extended the lead to 5-0 just over two minutes into the second quarter. Sinsebox netted the next two goals over a three-minute span to push the lead to 7-0. Bridgewater got on the board with 6:56 before half, but Sobel and Mike Allen (Williamsburg, Va./Jamestown) each scored in the final 4:39 of the frame to take a 9-1 lead into halftime.
- Sobel's third goal got the second half scoring started 1:10 into the half. Austin Payne (Charlottesville, Va./Western Albemarle) scored back-to-back goals less than a minute apart from one another, followed by Tankersley scoring two straight just 1:18 apart. Sinsebox's fourth goal of the game came 18 seconds after Tankersley's goal to end the quarter with RMC leading 15-1.
- The Eagles netted two goals in the opening minutes of the fourth quarter. RMC got back on track with a man up goal by Cooper Harding (Alexandria, Va./St. Stephens & St. Agnes) followed by a goal by JT Harvey (Ruther Glen, Va./Riverbend) to make the score 17-3. After another Bridgewater goal, the scoring closed with Fitz Stanley (Richmond, Va./Collegiate) scoring his first career-goal.

- Sinsebox and Tankersley each had four goals. Sinsebox added two ground balls and a caused turnover. Tankersley had an assist as well.
- Sobel recorded a hat trick for the first time in his career.
- Payne scored two goals to add to two ground balls and two caused turnovers.
- Will Robertson (Lutherville, Md./Calvert Hall) won 13 of 14 faceoffs and picked up six ground balls. Robertson leads the ODAC in faceoff win percentage by a healthy margin at .765.
- Charlie Violette (Norfolk, Va./Norfolk Academy) got his first start of his career and finished with two ground balls and two caused turnovers.
- RMC held Bridgewater to just 17-27 on clear attempts.
- The Yellow Jackets went 2-3 on man-up opportunities.
