– Randolph-Macon Men's Volleyball overpowered Randolph and Regent to the tune of a pair of 3-0 sweeps in a Saturday double header.

How it Happened vs. Randolph
- RMC opened the match with five straight points to surge into the lead. The Yellow Jackets led 11-7 when a 3-0 run propelled them to double up the WildCats at 14-7. Randolph trimmed the deficit back to four, but RMC stormed out to a 6-0 run that would effectively win the set, as they took the opening frame, 25-15.
- Randolph took the first two points of the second stanza before RMC got on the board with three straight. The WildCats held onto their one-point lead at a 6-5 advantage, but five of the next six went in favor of the Jackets to thrust them into a 10-7 lead. Randolph brought the deficit back within one, but they couldn't tie the score as RMC held off the WildCats and used a 4-1 run to extend the lead and take the set, 25-19.
- The third set was knotted at six before the Yellow Jackets seized momentum with a 7-2 run to take a 13-8 lead. Randolph cut the lead to two points but once again, RMC stormed out to a 7-0 run to grab a big lead. The WildCats had a late push, but RMC held off the comeback to take set three, 25-20, and earn the sweep.

- RMC hit .364 in the match.
- Phillip Van Essendelft (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) led the way with 11 kills, hitting .714, and four service aces. He also added a block assist.
- Kody Rogan (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) had 11 assists per set for 33 assists and five digs.
- Ian Wagenhauser (Glen Allen, Va./Deep Run) finished with 10 kills, an ace, and three block assists.
- Owen Hahn (Henrico, Va./Tucker) had a team-high four block assists.
- Mitchell Wyatt (Prince George, Va./Prince George) totaled seven kills and hit .545.
How it Happened vs. Regent
- The Yellow Jackets dominated the opening set from the beginning, as they took a 3-0 lead that escalated to a 9-2 advantage early on. The lead grew to 10 at 14-4 and remained above double-digits for the majority of the set. A pair of kills by Brennan Clark (Midlothian, Va./Manchester) helped the Yellow Jackets push the lead out to 23-8, allowing them to take the opening frame, 25-10.
- Similar to the first set, RMC controlled the second set from the jump. After taking a 4-3 lead, the Yellow Jackets stormed out to a 10-2 run to make the lead 14-5 in their favor. Neither side could put together a stretch of more than two straight points, but the lead finally reached double figures at 21-11. RMC took set two, 25-15.
- The Yellow Jackets jumped out to a 5-3 lead to open the third frame before the Royals went on a 4-0 run that helped propel them to a 12-8 lead. Seven of the next eight points went in RMC's favor as they seized control to take a 15-13 lead. After Regent stopped the run, the Yellow Jackets took five of the next six points to grow the lead further. They would go on to take set three, 25-19.

- 10 different players recorded a kill for the Yellow Jackets.
- RMC finished with 10 aces.
- Clark totaled eight kills to lead the team. He hit .385 and had an ace and a block assist.
- Seneca Gibson (Chicago, Ill./Preparatory Academy) finished with six kills and zero errors, hitting .750.
- Wagenhauser had five kills and four aces.
- Thomas Eubank (Henrico, Va./Mills Godwin) totaled eight assists and two aces.
