ASHLAND, Va. - Randolph-Macon Men's Lacrosse dominated the second half, led by
Logan Sinsebox's hat trick and
Avery Tankersley's four-point performance, to secure a 10-5 victory over McDaniel at Day Field.

How it Happened
- McDaniel appeared on the scoreboard first with a 12th minute goal by Jason Fritz, but the Yellow Jackets were quick to respond with a save by Jack Twomey (Reston, Va./Gonzaga) and an equalizing goal from Avery Tankersley (Baltimore, Md./Boys Latin) at the 9:27 mark of the first quarter. In the span of 60 seconds, Logan Sinsebox (Monkton, Md. Hereford) and Austin Payne (Charlottesville, Va./Western Albemarle) netted a goal each to increase the Jackets' lead and close first period's scoring.
- Randolph-Macon started the second quarter with a Will Robertson (Lutherville, Md./Calvert Hall) faceoff win and two shots that could not connect. The Green Terror's Jason Fritz tallied the only goal of the second period with 8:13 left to play in the half to draw McDaniel with one.
- The Lemon and Black started the second half scorching hot with scores from Peyton Rodriguez (Santa Barbara, Calif./Bishop Carcia Diego), Tankersley, and Sinsebox within the first two minutes, putting the Jackets ahead by 4. Sinsebox repeated his scoring effort with an 11th minute goal assisted by Grant Sobel (Mechanicsville, Va./Christchurch) and JT Harvey (Ruther Glen, Va./Riverbend) found the back of the net to add to Randolph-Macon's lead. Payne netted his second goal of the game with 7:11 remaining in the third quarter. The Green Terror would bring the deficit within five heading into the final 15 minutes with scores from Aidan Skelly and Sean Maruschak.
- McDaniel's Skelly put another one past the Jacket's defense to climb within four before Tyler Dyson (Culpeper, Va./Liberty) notched his second goal of the season at the 4:39 mark to cap the contest's final score at 10-5.

- Sinsebox led Randolph-Macon with three goals.
