ASHLAND, Va. – The Randolph-Macon basketball team had one member named on the preseason All-America teams list made by D3hoops.com for the upcoming season.
Third Team
Robinson is coming off a junior season that saw him garner NABC All-District Second Team, D3hoops All-Region VI, VaSID All-State First Team and All-ODAC First Team. Robinson scored at a 13.4 points per game clip last season. He climbed the national ranks, posting a 4.38 assist/turnover ratio, good for third in the country to couple with 114 assists on the season. Robinson nearly doubled his three-point total from a year ago, knocking down 64 threes, shooting 33% from beyond the arc.
The Yellow Jackets are coming off of a 24-5 season, earning an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament and advancing to the Round of 32 after a first round victory over Westfield State. RMC captured its fourth straight ODAC regular season crown and eighth in the past nine years after finishing 15-1 in conference play. Entering postseason play, RMC was fourth in the D3hoops.com poll.
