Lauren Brokaw (Glen Allen, Va./Glen Allen) found the back of the net in the 84th minute to stop the second half comeback by Southern Virginia at home on Tuesday evening, as the Yellow Jackets took home the 3-1 victory.

How it Happened
- In the first 25 minutes, Randolph-Macon dominated in all facets of the game. The Yellow Jackets put six shots on goal to keep pressure on Southern Virginia. Substitute Ariel Farmer (Chesterfield, Va./Clover Hill) was the jolt of energy Randolph-Macon needed to take an opening pass from Lillian Holt (Roanoke, Va./Patrick Henry) to boot the ball past the goalkeeper for the 1-0 lead.
- Caley Shriner (Glen Allen, Va./Deep Run), just inserted to the game three minutes prior, used another long ball by Holt to double the Yellow Jackets lead in the 35th minute.
- Southern Virginia came out of halftime with more energy and put the pressure onto the Yellow Jackets, scoring in the 68th minute by Courtney Pack to pull the Knights within a goal.
- In the 84th minute, the Lemon and Black slammed the door by Brokaw, as a good run and pass by freshman Natalie Moxey (Fairfax, Va./Robinson) found Brokaw to kick it past the goalkeeper to seal a 3-1 victory.
