ASHLAND, Va. – 16 different players score for Randolph-Macon men's lacrosse in a 26-1 victory in Ashland on Saturday.

How it Happened
- The Yellow Jackets poured in the goals from the jump, scoring four goals in the first five minutes of the game, kickstarted by Avery Tankersley (Baltimore, Md./Boys Latin). RMC would go on to score 10 goals in the frame, two of which were by Logan Sinsebox (Monkton, Md./Hereford) and two of the 10 goals were on the man-up.
- The scoring didn't stop there as a goal by Rock Schraa (Mechanicsville, Va./Hanover) increased the lead to 11-0. Bubba Bowen (Arnold, Md./Broadneck) notched his second goal of the game two minutes later, leading to a five-goal frame for RMC which gave them a 15-0 lead at the half.
- Averett got on the board just over a minute into the second half but Tyler Dyson (Culpeper, Va./Liberty) continued the scoring for RMC with a tally in front of the crease. Four more goals ensued over the course of five minutes, including a man-up goal by Matt Williams (Richmond, Va./Trinity Episcopal). RMC took a 20-1 lead into the fourth quarter.
- Ben Tomasic (New Freedom, Pa./Susquehannock) scored his second goal of the game just three and a half minutes into the fourth quarter. Connor Cadigan (Phoenix, Md./Boys Latin School) buried two goals in the frame as RMC cruised to a 26-1 win.
By The Numbers
- 16 different Yellow Jackets scored a goal. Seven of those scored multiple goals. They also outshot the Cougars 58-4.
- Connor Cadigan led the team with five goals, one shy of his career high. He also dished out two assists while having three ground balls and two caused turnovers.
- Matt Williams, Parker Lawler (Etters, Pa./Red Land), Avery Tankersley, and Ben Tomasic all had four points with two goals and two assists each.
- RMC went 26-30 on faceoffs. JD Spotts (Richmond, Va./Collegiate) went 11-13 in the circle with six ground balls.
- The Yellow Jackets were a perfect 15-15 on clears.
- RMC was also 4-4 on extra man opportunities.
