Taylor Mittelstadter (Chesterfield, Va./Manchester) recorded a career high in goals in a game with five to lead the Yellow Jackets to a thrashing victory over Ferrum 23-6.

How It Happened:
- Randolph-Macon started the game with a huge 9-0 run in the first 13:30 minutes. Annie Bartley (Richmond, Va./Mills Godwin) and Evie McNeally (Severna Park, Md./Archbishop Spalding) both scored twice during the run. Cami McNeally (Severna Park, Md./Archbishop Spalding), Rianna Lowery (Bel Air, Md./Notre Dame Prep), Taylor Mittelstadter (Chesterfield, Va./Manchester), Lilly Fowler (Phoenix, Md./Notre Dame Prep) and Maggie Muldoon (Prince Frederick, Md./St. Mary's Ryken) all jumped into the fun with a goal each. The Panthers received a goal from Willow Cooper with under a minute left to stop the Yellow Jacket run.
- Cooper scored again to begin the second period to bring the score of the game to 9-2 with just over thirteen minutes remaining. Goals were traded by Mittelstadter and Cooper during the next five minutes. Evie McNeally and Bartley added back-to-back goals to put the Lemon and Black up 12-3 with 8:19 remaining. Mittelstadter scored a goal with 2:27 remaining in the first half to start the running clock, as Randolph-Macon took a 14-4 lead. Lowery added a goal a minute later to send the Yellow Jackets into the halftime break up 15-4.
- Randolph-Macon outscored the Panthers 5-1 in the third period. Five different Yellow Jackets scored a goal to stretch the lead to 20-5 with 15 minutes left. Micaiyah Dickerson netted the lone goal for Ferrum in the period.
- In the final period, Randolph-Macon scored three goals to Ferrum's lone goal with a running clock. The Yellow Jackets would end up taking home their scored straight victory, defeating the Panthers 23-6.
By The Numbers
- Mittelstadter led the Yellow Jackets in goals with five in the game. The junior also added five draw controls, one caused turnover and an assist.
- Bartley netted four goals and lended a hand with three assists for seven total points.
- Evie McNeally and Lowery both recorded hat-tricks and each notched an assist for Randolph-Macon.
- Fowler and Muldoon each scored twice in the afternoon. Fowler also helped out a Lemon and Black goal with an assist.
- Elaina Creekmore (Pasadena, Md./Old Mill) controlled the draw circle with eight draw controls and she also added a goal to her line.
- Emma Taylor (Huntingtown, Md./Huntingtown) made one save in goal for Randolph-Macon in 30 minutes. Gillian Gladden (Taneytown, Md./Francis Scott Key) and Ellen Stark (McLean, Va./Oakcrest) both made a save in the remainder of the game.
For the Record
- Mittelstadter netted the most goals in her career in a single game with five overall, topping her old goal record of four that she has done multiple times in her career.
