How it Happened
- In the first period, Ursinus would open up the scoring for the game. But the Yellow Jackets would hit back hard as they would score six unanswered goals, Jack Smith (Stevensville, Md./DeMatha Catholic) scoring half of those and assisting another. RMC would take a commanding 6-1 lead into the second period of play.
- The Yellow Jackets would continue their dominance into the second as Sinsebox would net back-to-back goals early on to extend the lead to seven. Ursinus would respond to RMC's dominant run with two goals of their own, but another four goals by the Yellow Jackets would halt any momentum. RMC would head into the locker room with a comfortable 12-3 lead.
- The goals would continue to flow in the second half as early on Ryan Pritchard (Crofton, Md./DeMatha) would score his second goal of the day with 13:29 on the clock. Ursinus would respond by scoring three goals of their own to cut the lead to eight. A late goal by Austin Payne (Charlottesville, Va./Western Albemarle) would see the Yellow Jackets take 15-6 lead into the final period of play.
- The scoring would slow down in the fourth as Sinsebox scored RMC's lone goal in the period. Ursinus would give a valiant effort, netting four in the final period.

- RMC had four players net multiple goals. Sinsebox led all scorers with five. Smith and Payne each had three, while Pritchard added two of his own.
- Smith and Pritchard each had a game high of two assists.
- The Yellow Jackets had 37 total shots, 28 of them coming in the first half.
