– Randolph-Macon men's volleyball had 11 total blocks in a three-set match at fourth-ranked Southern Virginia on Friday night.

How it Happened:
- RMC commanded a 6-5 lead at the beginning of the first set but SVU came to life to take a 9-6 lead. After RMC brought it within one at 10-9, SVU opened the lead back up with a 6-2 run. The Yellow Jackets answered again to bring it back to one point at 18-17 but was turned away by the Knights who went on a 7-2 run the remainder of the set to take the opening stanza.
- An early 4-0 run allowed SVU to jump out to an 8-5 lead. RMC came back with a 3-1 run but the Knights kept distance from the Yellow Jackets with mini-runs, including a 5-1 run to make the score 19-13. Randolph-Macon stormed back to cut it to one at 20-19 after a 6-1 run but SVU finished the set on a 5-1 run to take set two.
- Set three was controlled early by SVU as they exploded to a 9-2 lead. RMC worked their way back to a two-point deficit at 12-10 but SVU poured it on with an 8-1 run. The lead was too much for RMC to overcome as the Knights rolled to a three-set sweep.
Inside the Numbers:
- Bryce Matthews (Chesterfield, Va./Clover Hill) led the team with six kills while also finishing with three blocks.
- RMC had 11 block assists as a team. The Yellow Jackets have had just three matches with less than 10 blocks this season.
- Kody Rogan (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) finished with a team-high 10 assists along with his five kills.
- Owen Hahn (Henrico, Va./Tucker) led the way with five blocks. He leads the team with 54 total blocks on the year.
