Logan Sinsebox (Monktown, Md./Hereford) nets 3 goals in the first period to lift the Yellow Jackets to an opening day 13-8 win on the road against Mary Washington.

How it Happened
- In the first period, Randolph-Macon came out firing on all cylinders as they were led by the four goal contributions from Sinsebox. In the blink of an eye, the Yellow Jackets held a commanding 7-0 lead by the end of the first period.
- Mary Washington would fight back at the start of the second to make it 7-3 with 7:26 left on the clock in the first half. The Yellow Jackets would end up taking a 8-4 lead into the locker room after a late goal by Junior Avery Tankersley (Baltimore, Md./Boys Latin).
- The Eagles would take back the momentum in the start of the second half as they would score the first three goals to cut RMC's lead to just two. But goals by Tankersley and Jack Smith (Stevensville, Md./DeMatha Catholic) would give the Yellow Jackets a three goal lead heading into the final window of play.
- At the start of the fourth period, it was clear RMC wanted to put the game to bed and take an opening day win back to Ashland. Two early goals by Smith and another by Ryan Pritchard (Crofton, Md./DeMatha) helped secure the win for the Yellow Jackets.
