– An offensive outburst for Randolph-Macon Field Hockey lifted them to a 9-0 win over Southern Virginia on Wednesday.

How it Happened
- After a flurry of scoring chances in the opening minutes of the game, RMC lit up the scoreboard first with a goal by Isabella McNulty (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) four minutes in. The next two RMC goals came 30 seconds apart from one another, the first being off the stick of Cali Kujawa (Hampton, Va./Kecoughtan) and the second being a penalty stroke by Caroline Bassett (Glen Allen, Va./Patrick Henry).
- Mia Kuhnle (Yorktown, Va./Tabb) scored the fourth RMC goal of the game just 41 seconds into the second frame. The next three goals came in a span of seven minutes as Anna Stribling (Annandale, Va./W.T. Woodson), Caitlin Porter (Virginia Beach, Va./Kellam), and Alaina McCoy (Fredericksburg, Va./Stafford) all tallied goals to extend the first half lead to 7-0 heading into the break.
- Both Isabella McNulty and Cali Kujawa notched their second goals of the game in the third quarter and proved to be the final goals of the game on either side as RMC held onto a 9-0 lead for the remainder.
