FOREST, Va. – Randolph-Macon senior outfielder Hunter Cole (Norfolk, Va./Granby) was named the ODAC Player of the Year as the conference announced its baseball postseason awards.
Cole also held a spot on the All-ODAC First Team. Senior outfielder Ethan Iannuzzi and junior outfielder Matt Myers were voted All-ODAC Second Team.
In 22 conference contests, Cole was first in the ODAC with nine home runs, 27 RBI and slugging percentage of .833. He was second in the league with 36 hits and 31 runs, fourth with 12 stolen bases, fifth with a batting average of .400 and sixth with an on-base percentage of .495.
For the full season, Cole started all 42 games with a batting average of .311 with 10 doubles, 11 homers, and 40 RBI. Cole was named ODAC Player of the Week on May 1 and was named to the National Team of the Week by D3baseball.com the following day. He was All-ODAC First Team a season ago.
Iannuzzi started all 42 games with 68 hits, 49 runs, 11 doubles, 11 homers and 46 RBI. He was 22 for 27 on stolen bases. In 22 league games, Iannuzzi batted .337 with 29 runs, 33 hits, six homers and 24 RBI. He was All-ODAC Second Team in 2022.
Myers batted .328 in 39 games with 34 runs, 38 hits, 23 RBI and 11 steals. In 19 conference games, Myers batted .370 with 25 runs, 27 hits, 17 walks, seven steals and an on-base percentage of .495. He was All-ODAC Third Team a season ago.
