Box Score ASHLAND, Va. – The Randolph-Macon men's volleyball team returned home for senior night against CVC opponent Elizabethtown on Friday night. RMC started the week off well with a three-set sweep over the Blue Jays in Crenshaw Gym.

How it Happened:
- After being tied 2-2 early in the first set, the Yellow Jackets proceeded to rally out to a 9-3 lead to take control over the set. The set went back and forth again until RMC extended the lead with a 7-0 run to take a 22-9 lead. Patrick Lyons (Henrico, Va./Mills E. Godwin) finished the set with a kill to give RMC a 1-0 lead in the match.
- Etown jumped out to a 5-3 lead over RMC in the second set, but the Yellow Jackets stormed back to take a 7-5 lead over the Blue Jays. Etown returned to the lead after a 5-0 run to lead 14-12. From that point, Jarrett Carrano (Beaverdam, Va./Patrick Henry) began an 8-1 run for the Yellow Jackets to take control of the set. RMC finished out the set to take a 2-0 lead in the match.
- RMC was on top from the beginning in the third set, opening a 6-2 lead in a blink. The Blue Jays showed life, going on a 4-0 run later in the set to bring the deficit to two, but RMC answered with a 5-0 run of their own to re-open the lead. RMC controlled the rest of the match and stopped a late Etown surge to win, 25-21 and sweep the match.
By the Numbers vs. Kean:
- Ian Wagenhauser (Glen Allen, Va./Deep Run) led the Yellow Jackets with 12 kills. He also added five service aces and a block.
- Kolby Gibson (Bumpass, Va./Louisa) was dominant, grabbing eight kills and a .500 hitting percentage. He also led RMC with 10 digs.
- Kody Rogan (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) had 26 assists, four service aces, and two blocks in a stellar effort.
- Jarrett Carrano added six kills and five digs on the night.
