LEXINGTON, Ky. – Randolph-Macon men's volleyball continues to lead the nation with 30 wins, vaulting the program to #10 in the NPI after locking up its second consecutive Old Dominion Athletic Conference Title.
This past week, Randolph-Macon defeated Virginia Wesleyan, 3-0 in the ODAC Semifinals, before beating Eastern Mennonite in four sets to earn an NCAA Tournament berth.
The Lemon and Black have won nine contests in a row, including six-straight sweeps over the span. With their impressive play, the Yellow Jackets punch their ticket to the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive year, including a trip past the play-in round, marking the furthest the program has gone in school history.
RMC's .300 hitting percentage as a team slots fifth in the nation, while they also rank in the top-15 in kills per set (12.56), aces per set (1.93) and opponent hitting percentage (.162).
On Friday, April 17, #10 Randolph-Macon will face #7 Messiah in the first round of the NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball Tournament. The contest will take place at Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pa., at 6:30 p.m.
