Box Score ASHLAND, Va. – The Randolph-Macon men's lacrosse team hit the road down I-64 for a midweek matchup against the second-ranked team in the country in Christopher Newport. The Captains outlasted the Yellow Jackets, winning 19-7, moving RMC to 2-2 on the season.

How It Happened
- After RMC surrendered the first two goals of the game, goals by Bubba Bowen (Arnold, Md./Broadneck) and Duncan O'Brien (Virginia Beach, Va./Frank W. Cox) knotted the game up at two. O'Brien tallied the final goal of the quarter to bring RMC within one after 15 minutes.
- The Captains' defense was tough to break in the second frame, holding RMC scoreless until halftime, leading 10-3.
- RMC stopped a 10-0 CNU run with a goal by Ethan Robinette (Charlotte, N.C./Providence Day) with 33 seconds left in the frame.
- The Yellow Jackets scored the three of the final five goals of the game, including the second of the game by Robinette. Logan Sinsebox (Monkton, Md./Hereford) and Connor Cadigan (Phoenix, Md./Boys Latin School) scored the final two goals for RMC.
