Box Score ASHLAND, Va. – Junior Logan Schweiger (Church Hill, Md./Queen Anne's County) had nine points (4 goals, 5 assists) and freshman Rianna Lowery (Bel Air, Md./Notre Dame Prep) added eight points (7 goals, 1 assist) as the sixth-seeded R-MC women's lacrosse team defeated seventh-seeded Bridgewater 21-11 on Monday evening in the first round of the 2022 ODAC Championship.

How It Happened
- The Eagles had the first goal of the game before Lowery scored twice to give the Yellow Jackets a 2-1 edge with 11:22 left in the first period. Schweiger and sophomore Annie Bartley (Richmond, Va./Mills Godwin) assisted on the goals. After BC tied it. Lowery assisted senior McKenzie Hynson (Pasadena, Md./Northeast) and Schweiger scored on an assist by Bartley as R-MC took a 4-2 advantage with 6:43 remaining. The Eagles pulled within one before Schweiger scored on a free position shot to make it 5-3. BC again got within one before freshman Evie McNeally (Severna Park, Md./Archbishop Spalding) connected on a free position shot and Lowery scored with 56 seconds left as the Yellow Jackets led 7-4 after one.
- The home team would take control in the second period. Lowery had the first goal of the quarter before BC made it 8-5. R-MC would net the next five goals. Schweiger scored on an assist by junior Kayla Ross (Gambrills, Md./Arundel). Hynson and Lowery were successful on free position shots. Senior Lily Henderson (Manakin-Sabot, Va./St. Catherine's) scored on a pass from Bartley and Schweiger assisted Lowery as the Yellow Jackets led 13-5 at halftime.
- Ross had the first goal of the second half on an assist by sophomore Amelia Davis (Davidsonville, Md./South River) as the lead grew to nine at 14-5. BC had the next two goals before Davis fed Schweiger as the Yellow Jackets led 15-7 with 8:55 remaining. After an Eagle goal, freshman Taylor Mittelstadter (Chesterfield, Va./Manchester) and Henderson scored free position goals to put R-MC up 17-8. BC had the next two scores before Schweiger assisted Lowery to make it 18-10 after three quarters.
- Schweiger assisted Ross, Davis assisted Bartley and Schweiger assisted Bartley as the Yellow Jackets took a 21-10 lead with 9:26 left. BC had the final goal to make the final score 21-11.
