Box Score (LEXINGTON, Va.) – The regular season ended for the Randolph-Macon men's lacrosse team as it fell to Washington & Lee (RV) 21-9 on Saturday afternoon. The good news for the Yellow Jackets is that the season will go on as they qualify for the ODAC Tournament which begins tomorrow.

How It Happened
- After the Generals opened up the game with the first three goals, a penalty gave the Yellow Jackets new life. Andrew Tiffey (Jr., Columia, Md. / Wilde Lake) took advantage of it as he gave R-MC its first goal thanks to an assist from Ryan Pritchard (Fr., Crofton, Md. / DeMatha) midway through the quarter.
- The Generals answered with the next three goals. Jack Smith (Fr., Stevensville, Md. / DeMatha Catholic) was able to get the Jackets back on the board, however, as he scored with 2:23 to go in the first.
- Washington & Lee opened up the second with seven consecutive goals. Brandon Smith (Jr., Richmond, Va. / Douglas Freeman) scored on an assist from Jack Averna (Jr., Warrenton, Va. / Fauquier) with 2:26 to go, but the Generals added the last goal in the frame just before time expired.
- The third quarter was the best for the Jackets as they outscored the Generals 4-3 in the frame. Pritchard, Cameron Foti (So., Annandale, Va. / Annandale), Brandon Smith, and Averna provided the goals for the Jackets.
- The Generals ended any hopes for a comeback with the first four goals of the fourth quarter. Austin Day (Sr., Marshall, Va. / Highland) added another EMO goal on an assist from Duncan O'Brien (So., Virginia Beach, Va. / Frank W. Cox) scored the final two goals for the Jackets before time expired.

- Brandon Smith led the Jackets with two goals and one assist for three points. He now has six goals and six assists over his last three games.
- Tiffey, Averna, and Pritchard all had one goal and one assist.
- Harris Archer (So., Baldwin, Va. / Douglas S. Freeman) entered the game in goal and made eight saves on 15 shots faced.
- Jack Silvernale (Sr., Warrenton, Va. / Fauquier) was 5-for-10 on faceoffs.
- Teams were both even on clears with 14 on 18 attempts.
