Box Score 2 BRIDGEWATER, Va. – Senior Kevin Mooney (Williamsburg, Va./Jamestown) drove in six on the day as the No. 14 Randolph-Macon baseball team swept a doubleheader at Bridgewater on Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened: Game 1
- The Yellow Jackets would start the scoring in the top of the first. Sophomore Ethan Iannuzzi (Chesterfield, Va./Cosby) was hit by a pitch, stole second and scored on an error. Senior Mike Nickles (Stafford, Va./Colonial Forge) walked and later came home to make it 2-0.
- After the Eagles plated a run in the third, R-MC responded in the sixth. Freshman Grayson Bush (Charlottesville, Va./Monticello) was hit by a pitch and stole home. Sophomore Brooks Mazey (Glen Allen, Va./Deep Run) delivered a two-run single to give the Yellow Jackets a 5-1 lead.
- BC plated a run in the bottom of the sixth before R-MC put the game away in the seventh. Iannuzzi and Mazey had sacrifice flies, senior Ryan Duphorn (Erial, N.J./Paul VI) stole home, and Mooney capped the rally with a three-run homer to make the final 11-2.

How It Happened: Game 2
- R-MC again scored in the first in the nightcap. Duphorn had a leadoff double and scored on an error. Iannuzzi reached on an error and came home on a base hit by Mike Nickles. A double by senior Jacob Selden (Lynchburg, Va./E.C. Glass) brought in Nickles, Mooney singled and scored on a wild pitch, and a sacrifice fly by Mazey brought home Selden to put the Yellow Jackets up 5-0.
- Iannuzzi reached and scored on errors in the second to give the visitors a 6-0 cushion.
- Selden singled and scored on a wild pitch, and Bush delivered an RBI single in the third as the advantage grew to 8-0.
- Mazey singled and scored on a base hit by Bush in the fifth, and Mike Nickles came home on a wild pitch in the sixth to make it 10-0.
- The Eagles put up three in the bottom of the sixth that was matched by Mooney's bases-clearing triple in the seventh as the score moved to 13-3.
- BC scored one in the bottom of the seventh before R-MC finished the scoring in the eighth. Freshman Myles Webb (Norfolk, Va./Granby) had an RBI double, Bush had a run-scoring groundout, freshman Matthew Myers (Hampstead, Md./Manchester Valley) delivered an RBI single and sophomore Blake Doggett (Richmond, Va./Hanover) drove in the final run with a base hit to make it 17-4.
By The Numbers
- The Yellow Jackets extended their win streak to eight games.
- R-MC is 10-0 in ODAC play, the only team still undefeated in league play.
- After being held to five hits in the opener, R-MC had a season-high 23 hits in the nightcap. Mooney and Bush both had three hits and three RBI.
- Sophomore Hayden Snelsire (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) earned the win to raise his record to 3-0. He worked 6.0 innings with six hits, two earned runs, one walk and five strikeouts.
