Box Score ASHLAND, Va. – Sophomore Brooks Mazey (Glen Allen, Va./Deep Run) had three hits and scored twice as the No. 2 Randolph-Macon baseball team fell 8-7 in 10 innings at North Carolina Wesleyan on Sunday afternoon.

How It Happened
- The Battling Bishops plated an unearned run in the bottom of the first to start the scoring. Senior Reece Yeargain (Chester, Va./Benedictine) homered to left in the top of the second to even it at 1-1.
- NCWC tallied two in the third to reclaim the lead. R-MC got one back in the fourth as Mazey singled and scored on a sacrifice fly by senior Ryan Duphorn (Erial, N.J./Paul VI) to make it 3-2. The Bishops used a grand slam in the fifth to take a 7-2 advantage.
- The Yellow Jackets started their comeback in the sixth. Mazey had a leadoff single and was erased at second on a fielder's choice off the bat of freshman Grayson Bush (Charlottesville, Va./Monticello). Duphorn and senior Ben Marotske (Dumfries, Va./C.D. Hylton) walked to load the bases. Senior Mike Nickles (Stafford, Va./Colonial Forge) also walked to force in a run. Senior Kevin Mooney (Williamsburg, Va./Jamestown) knocked in two to pull R-MC within two at 7-5.
- R-MC tied the game in the seventh. Senior Jacob Selden (Lynchburg, Va./E.C. Glass) walked and moved to third on a double by Mazey. A base hit by Bush brought home Selden, and Mazey scored on a wild pitch to deadlock the game at 7-7.
- The Yellow Jackets were scoreless in their final three at-bats. NCWC plated a run in the bottom of the 10th to claim victory.

- Mazey went 3 for 5 with a double and two runs, while Bush was 3 for 5 with one run, one RBI and one stolen base.
