ASHLAND, Va. – Randolph-Macon softball is tagged at No. 15 in this week's edition of the Fastpitch News Power Rankings. The ranking follows a 3-1 week for the Yellow Jackets.

The week began with a trip to Bridgewater. There, the Yellow Jackets split with the Eagles, dropping the first game 7-1, but winning the second 7-3. R-MC then defeated Randolph twice on Sunday, winning 8-0 in six innings and 10-1 in five innings.

R-MC is ranked for the second week in a row after climbing back into the rankings last week at No. 12.  The ranking marked a return for the Yellow Jackets, after falling out of the rankings late last month. The team's return was boosted by a split with then-No. 1 Christopher Newport on April 3.

The Yellow Jackets play at Ferrum today in a doubleheader beginning at 4:00 PM. The team finishes the season with a doubleheader against Roanoke at home on Saturday beginning at 1:00 PM.
