Box Score ASHLAND, Va.—Sophomore Coleman Adams (Mechanicsville, Va. / St. Christopher's) recorded a goal and two assists as the Randolph-Macon men's lacrosse team defeated Randolph 6-3 in ODAC action Saturday afternoon.
The Wildcats (6-2, 1-1 ODAC) struck first in the contest with 7:58 remaining in the first period but the Yellow Jackets (2-6, 1-1 ODAC) countered with four unanswered goals. Senior Ryan Davidson (Logan Township, NJ / Kingsway Regional) put R-MC on the board with help from sophomore Miles Muncie (Midlothian, Va. / Midlothian) to tie the game at 1-1. Davidson found freshman Lee Pratt (Winston-Salem, NC / Ronald Reagan) early in the second period and sophomore Alex Camilliere (Huntingtown, Md. / Huntingtown) added two goals before halftime as the Yellow Jackets built a 4-1 advantage.
The Wildcats scored with less than a minute expired in the third quarter to cut R-MC's lead to two goals at 4-2. Muncie notched his eighth goal of the season off a pass from Adams with 8:20 to play.
Adams scored in the fourth quarter to give R-MC a 6-2 lead. The Wildcats would score once more as the Yellow Jackets went on to claim the 6-3 conference victory.
Sophomore Kyle Geblein (Hagerstown, Md. / Smithsburg) picked up seven groundballs and caused three turnovers in the contest.
Junior Brian Davies (Lynchburg, Va. / E.C. Glass) recorded 10 saves for R-MC.
Randolph-Macon returns to action on the road at Southern Virginia on Tuesday, March 22 at 6:30 p.m.
