ASHLAND, Va. - Junior Brian Davies (Lynchburg, Va./E.C. Glass) recorded 13 saves, including seven in the first half, as the Randolph-Macon men's lacrosse team dropped a 14-8 decision to first-place Lynchburg in ODAC action Wednesday evening at Day Field.

Freshman Coleman Adams (Mechanicsville, Va./St. Christopher's) had three goals and an assist, while freshman Kyle Keepers (Roswell, Ga./Roswell) added a pair of goals for the Yellow Jackets (6-11, 3-6).

The Hornets (14-2, 8-0) put up five goals in each of the first two periods, while R-MC tallied two in each quarter to trail 10-4 at intermission.

The teams played even in the second half, as each squad scored twice in each of the final two periods.

R-MC held a 14-12 advantage on ground balls in the second half. Junior Nick Benhoff (Phoenix, Md./Dulaney) led the Yellow Jackets with 11 ground balls in the contest. Benhoff also won 13 faceoffs and caused three turnovers.
