Box Score ROANOKE, Va. - Sophomore Lauren Orga (Hayes, Va./Gloucester) and freshman Delaney Doyle (Gloucester, Va.) each recorded a goal and an assist as the Randolph-Macon women's soccer team blanked Hollins 8-0 Saturday afternoon in ODAC action.
The Yellow Jackets (5-4-1, 2-3 ODAC) tallied four goals in each half. R-MC had 81 shots, including 45 shots on goal.
Junior Sam Tyler (Colonial Heights, Va./Colonial Heights) started the scoring in the third minute on an assist by freshman Kasey Martino (Centreville, Va.). Senior Jen LaBarge (Gambrills, Md./South River) made it 2-0 with a goal in the 12th minute, assisted by junior Meghan O'Neal (Richmond, Va./Mills Godwin). Doyle assisted freshman Maggie Keeler's (Staunton, Va.) goal in the 36th minute and Doyle scored in the 42nd minute on an assist by freshman Madeline Jackson (Chesapeake, Va.) to make it 4-0 at the half.
Orga set up junior Katie Schwalen (Currituck, N.C./Currituck County) on a goal in the 52nd minute to raise the score to 5-0. Junior Bridget Panas (Goochland, Va./Goochland) found the back of the net in the 61st minute on an assist by junior Lindsey Hall (Glen Allen, Va./Deep Run). Freshman Mia Heydet (Colonial Heights, Va.) scored in the 62nd minute on a assist by freshman Maegan Beck (Gloucester, Va.) before Orga concluded the scoring in the 85th minute to make the final 8-0.
R-MC held an 18-0 advantage in corner kicks.
Megan McKee had 37 saves for Hollins (0-9, 0-5 ODAC).
Randolph-Macon returns to action on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at Lynchburg at 6 p.m.
