RICHMOND, Va.—The Yellow Jackets received their first loss this season as they were topped 81-68 tonight at Virginia Union in women's basketball action.

Katie Anderson (Beaverdam, VA / Patrick Henry) finished with a team-high 19 points and an impressive 21 rebounds. The game marks Anderson's fifth double-double in as many outings. She also recorded a pair of steals and assists. Junior Sarah Parsons (Glen Allen, VA / J.R. Tucker) and sophomore Khajae Hester (VA Beach, VA / Cape Henry Collegiate) both tallied 14 points for the R-MC offense. Parsons contributed 5 assists alongside Hester's 3; both adding a pair of steals and rebounds.

The Jackets (7-1, 2-0 ODAC) look to improve Saturday, December 7th as they host Hollins University for a 2:00 PM ODAC match-up in Crenshaw Gymnasium.
