Box Score ASHLAND, Va. – Junior quarterback Zac Naccarato (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend) completed 13 of 14 passes for 198 yards and two touchdowns as Randolph-Macon thumped Shenandoah 42-7 in ODAC football action at Day Field.
The Yellow Jackets (6-2) moved into a three-way tie for first in the ODAC with Hampden-Sydney and Guilford, each with a 4-1 conference mark.

Greg Petrohovich (Richmond, Va./Benedictine) with a 10-yard touchdown pass to give R-MC a 7-0 lead. It capped a 10-play, 56-yard drive in 5:40.
Senior running back Will McGhee (Fishersville, Va./St. Anne's-Belfield) scored on a six-yard run early in the second quarter to give the Yellow Jackets a 14-0 advantage. It finished an 83-yard drive in 11 plays in 6:49.
Sophomore running back John Byrd (Manassas Park, Va./Manassas Park) scored on one-yard runs in the third and fourth quarters, his second giving R-MC a 35-0 lead. In between his TD runs, Naccarato hit senior tight end Matt Williamson (Wilson, N.C./Princeton) with a 14-yard scoring toss.
The Hornets (3-5, 2-3) put up a touchdown with 1:55 remaining to avoid the shutout. Petrohovich found freshman wide receiver Jake Connolly (Richmond, Va./Deep Run) on a 58-yard scoring toss to make the final 42-7.
The Yellow Jackets amassed 454 yards of total offense, compared to 256 by the Hornets. R-MC picked up 198 yards on the ground, while SU managed just 38.
R-MC held the ball for more than 35 minutes, while SU had it less than 25 minutes. In the third quarter, the Yellow Jackets had the ball for more than 12 minutes.
Sophomore safety Eric Long (Burke, Va./Lake Braddock) and freshman cornerback Deshaun Rogers (Mechanicsville, Va./Lee-Davis) paced the R-MC defense with 6.5 tackles each. Junior defensive end Tom Solak (Richmond, Va./Mills Godwin) had a pair of quarterback sacks.
R-MC returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 9, with an ODAC contest at Bridgewater at 1 p.m.
