Box Score HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA –Brad Mostowy won 17 of his 23 face-off attempts and collected 15 groundballs, the third highest single game total in the ODAC this season as Hampden-Sydney knocked off Randolph-Macon, 14-8, Wednesday in men's lacrosse action.
R-MC (7-4 / 1-3 ODAC) was led by Brian Rowe, Patrick Egan and Justin Butler who all had a pair of goals in the loss for the Jackets. Jake Leddy and Jason Andrews each chipped in with a goal and an assist for Randolph-Macon.
Defensively, Jason Crawford made 11 stops in net for the Yellow Jackets, while Jason Andrews had a team-high five groundballs and Crawford and Joe Liberto each had four.
Mostowy helped H-SC (7-3 / 1-2 ODAC) win 17-of-23 face offs which gave the ball to the Tiger offense that had four different players score at least two goals on the way the win, led by a hat trick from Micah Keller.
Cody Hornung and Austin Black combined to make nine saves in the cage for the Tigers.
Randolph-Macon will make its first trip to Randolph on April 16th for a 7:00 p.m. game with the WildCats.
