Kevin Brashears led Shenandoah at the plate with a 3-for-4 outing and an RBI. Clint DeHaven also had three hits, an RBI and the only extra base hit for the Hornets.
Brian Goddard picks up his third win of the season after tossing seven and two thirds innings. The righty allowed just one run and struck out ten. Kyle Scallion gave up one hit in the final inning and a third to record the save.
Cory Nelson singled home Brashears in the top of the first to give Shenandoah a 1-0 lead before DeHaven scored on a passed ball to stretch the advantage to 2-0.
The Hornets went up 3-0 in the second when Brashears plated Keaton Neeb with a single through the right side.
Michael Helbig singled with one out in the fifth and advanced to second when Brian Jordan drew a walk in the next at bat. Weymouth stepped to the dish two batters later and ripped a two out RBI single to center.
Randolph-Macon started the bottom of the ninth with a single from Andrew Cheatham but Shenandoah turned a double play and retired the final batter for the 3-1 win.
