ASHLAND, VA – The Randolph-Macon College Women's Basketball team lost a close, 61-55, contest to Franklin & Marshall Tuesday afternoon in the Yellow Jackets' final game at the Puerto Rico Classic.

R-MC (4-5) got a career-high 14 points from Christina Phelps as well as 14 from Maggie Roy. Sarah Parsons also chipped in with 11 points of her own in the loss. Jillian Asay grabbed a team-high six rebounds, while Taylor Wieczorek snared five boards.

F&M's (6-2) Alexa Barbush led all scorers with 26 points and was one of three Diplomats in double-digits. Kristina McCarthy had 14 points and Allison Bauer had 11 in the win.

Randolph-Macon will be off for the holidays before returning to action on January 6th at Guilford. Tip-off is slated for 7:00 p.m. in Greensboro.
