ASHLAND, VA - Randolph-Macon College freshman goalkeeper Ray Wodarski made 23 saves, including 14 in the second half alone as he led the Yellow Jackets to an 11-7 ODAC win over arch rival Hampden-Sydney. The win secures R-MC's first berth into the ODAC Tournament in school history.

R-MC (7-6) jumped out to a 2-0 lead on goals by Keith Baker and Brendan Kerrigan. A Kyle Jett strike with one second on the first quarter clock gave H-SC its first goal of the contest.

After H-SC's (7-7) Kenny Mathison opened the second quarter scoring to tie the game at 2-2, R-MC got back-to-back goals from Peter LaPaglia and Paul Johnsen to go up 4-2.

Jett struck again with 1:51 to go in the half to send the team to intermission with Jackets leading 4-3.

R-MC outscored the Tigers 3-1 in the third quarter, getting two goals from Billy Rowe and a strike from Tyler Watkins to go along with seven saves from Wodarski to hold a 7-4 lead after three quarters.

H-SC scored three of the first four goals of the fourth quarter, cutting the Jackets advantage to 8-7 on a Doug Carpenter goal with 7:27 to go in the game.

The Yellow Jackets responded with three goals to end the game, getting tallies from Rich Wilkens, Johnsen, Rowe and another seven saves in the quarter from Wodarski to seal the win.

Randolph-Macon will travel to top-seeded Lynchburg College on Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. in the ODAC semifinals.
