LYNCHBURG, Va. - Randolph-Macon Women's Soccer closed out its three-game road stretch in Lynchburg, Virginia, with the Yellow Jackets falling 2-0.

How it Happened
- In the eighth minute, Mack Cooper took the first shot and missed high. The two teams traded possessions for the next 25 minutes.
- In the 35th minute, Lynchburg opened the scoring when Lune DenHartog buried a shot into the low left of the net. RMC searched for an opportunity but the Hornets kept the pressure on the rest of the period and maintained a 1-0 lead heading into the break.
- 25 seconds into the start of the second half, Cece Beem (Camp Hill, Pa./Camp Hill) recorded the Lemon and Black's first shot that missed high right.
- Seven minutes later, the Hornets went back on the attack and quickly rattled off two shots, with one of them testing Maeve Konstantoulas (Baltimore, Md./Archbishop Spalding). LYN continued to apply pressure and limited the attacking chances of the Yellow Jackets.
- During the 76th minute, Brice McClendon (Raleigh, N.C./Millbrook) sent a shot towards the low center of the goal, which tested Julia Salo, the Hornets' keeper, while trying to level the match.
- In the 84th minute, the Hornets extended their lead to 2-0 on a goal by Teigan Casey, assisted by Makayla Hargrove.Â
