ASHLAND, Va. – The Randolph-Macon Football team has been named in the top-25 in the D3football.com Week 3 poll, sitting in the final spot at #25.
Randolph-Macon defeated Maryville (Tenn.) this past weekend at home during Hall of Fame Weekend. The Lemon and Black defeated the Scots by a score of 42-14 to keep RMC in the national poll for the second straight week.
The Yellow Jackets also have the most votes in the receiving votes section in the AFCA Coaches Poll for week three.
Season Highlights & Notes
- The Lemon and Black recorded 310 passing yards against Maryville (Tenn.) this past weekend, the most in a game since defeating Catholic during the 2021 season. The team ended that game with 443 yards passing.
- Randolph-Macon is now 28-6 (.824) in the month of September since the 2016 season.
Following its bye week, Randolph-Macon will host Bridgewater (Va.) to open up conference play on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 1:00 p.m.
