ASHLAND, Va. – The third-seeded Randolph-Macon softball team will head to Salem, Virginia to take part in the opening weekend of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Softball Tournament.

The Yellow Jackets will be matched up with second-seeded Shenandoah, sixth-seeded Bridgewater and seventh-seeded Averett in Pod 2. The other pod will consist of top-seeded and top ranked Virginia Wesleyan, fourth-seeded Lynchburg, fifth-seeded Roanoke and eighth-seeded Guilford. The tournament will take place from Friday, May 1 to Sunday, May 3 at the Moyer Sports Complex at Roanoke College. 

The tournament will be double-elimination format with the winners of each pod moving on to the championship series the following weekend. The championship series will be hosted at the highest remaining seed in a best two-out-of-three format.
