ASHLAND, Va. – The Yellow Jackets continue to garner votes in the latest ABCA Coaches Poll, increasing their vote total to 12 from coaches across the country.
 
This past week, RMC posted a 4-0 record, which included back-to-back wins against Hampden-Sydney, before sweeping a doubleheader on the road against Averett. Randolph-Macon defeated HSC 12-7 and 10-3, racking up 21 RBI in the 18 innings of play. The Lemon and Black followed their rivalry wins with 10-8 and 9-3 wins against the Cougars, in which the squad registered 15 and 11 hits, respectively. 
 
RMC has now posted 10-or-more hits in each of its past five games, marking the longest stretch this season. Furthermore, the team tallied double-digit RBI in three consecutive games this past week, signifying the second time they have accomplished the feat in 2026.
 
Randolph-Macon is on a season-long six game win streak. Additionally, its four consecutive wins in conference play marks the longest stretch of the 2026 campaign.

This week, the Lemon and Black travel to Lynchburg to face the #2 Hornets on Tuesday, April 21 at 3:00 p.m., before remaining on the road for another 3:00 p.m. game against (RV) Mary Washington on Thursday, April 23.
