Emma Moxham (Street, Md./Garrison Forest School) has been named ODAC Defensive Player of the Week. Moxham has been named ODAC Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career.
The Yellow Jackets had a midweek matchup in Ashland, Virginia, against Sweet Briar, winning 28-0. They finished off the week on Saturday, taking a trip to Salem for a key ODAC matchup against Roanoke and winning 14-10.
Against the Vixens, Moxham posted one point overall on one goal. On Wednesday, she also added two draw controls. Against the Maroons, Moxham made a massive contribution to the Yellow Jackets' success in Salem. She tallied two goals and one assist. She dominated the draw circle, collecting five draw controls for the Lemon and Black while causing three turnovers and scooping up two ground balls in the win.
RMC is set for a matchup on Wednesday night when they are scheduled to travel to the #22 Christopher Newport Captains in Newport News, Virginia, at 7:00 p.m.
