Rogan, Plucker and Taylor Headline Men's Volleyball All-ODAC Awards

FOREST, Va. – Following the second ODAC title in program history, Randolph-Macon Men's Volleyball had a program-high seven members honored in the ODAC postseason awards. The Yellow Jackets are 30-4 on the season and a perfect 16-0 in conference play, earning Head Coach Christian Taylor  his second consecutive ODAC Coach of the Year honor.

Senior setter Kody Rogan (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) has now ben named ODAC Offensive Player of the Year for back-to-back seasons. Rogan is the program's all time leader in aces (199) and assists (3,209) and earns his fourth all-conference honor after being named to the first team All-CVC team in 2024 and third team in 2023. He leads the ODAC with 44 service aces in 2026 and his program single-season high 926 assists ranks second in the conference. 

Junior libero Brady Plucker (Fredericksburg, Va./Riverbend) has been named ODAC Defensive Player of the Year, giving him All-ODAC honors in each of his last two years, after making the second team in 2025. This season, Plucker posted a single match career-high 24 digs, marking the most in any ODAC contest in the past two seasons and the most in any three-set match in Division III this year. He also ranks second in the conference in digs (246) and digs per set (2.54).

Junior outside hitter Bryce Matthews (Chesterfield, Va./Clover Hill) earned All-ODAC first team honors for the first time in his career, as he was also named to the second team in 2025. The junior finished second in the ODAC in points (353) and points per set (4.14), as well as third in the conference in kills (295) and kills per set (3.43). All of the marks represent career-highs for Matthews, as he finishes conference play with three ODAC weekly awards in 2026.

Senior outside hitter Ian Wagenhauser (Glen Allen, Va./Deep Run) sees his name on the All-ODAC First Team for the second consecutive season, earning a bid to an all-conference team in each of his four years. The senior sits first in program history for career kills (1,217) and points (1,482), as well as second in service aces (153). Wagenhasuer ranked second in the ODAC in service aces (37) and service aces per set (.42), fourth in points (331) and seventh in hitting percentage (.337).

Senior middle blocker Phillip Van Essendelft (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) has been named to the All-ODAC First Team for the second consecutive year, after becoming Randolph-Macon's all-time blocking leader (246). Van Essendelft slots third in the ODAC in blocks (93) and fifth in hitting percentage (.365). Furthermore, he has amassed single season career-highs in total attacks (412), kills (213), service aces (18) and assists (16).

Junior outside hitter Landon Brinkley (Norfolk, Va./Norfolk Christian) has been tabbed to the All-ODAC third team, earning his first ever ODAC honor. The junior finished top-five on the team in points, (181.5), kills (148), digs (11) and assists (19), while missing just three matches.
