How It Happened in Game 1:
- On the first pitch the Yellow Jackets saw, Jon Quici (Paoli, Pa./Conestoga) was drilled, putting a runner on first with no outs. In the following at-bat, Zach Wernoski (Chapel Hill, N.C./East Chapel Hill) laced a single to left, putting runners on the corners for Randolph-Macon. Quici was then able to score to create a 1-0 lead, thanks to a wild pitch in the same at-bat that Carter Schmitt (Glen Allen, Va./St. Christopher's) walked on. The home team used runners on the corners again to gain a 2-0 lead, after Maddox Bullock (Roanoke Rapids, N.C./Roanoke Rapids) drove Wernoski in with a ground ball. Duff then rifled a single to the pitcher for a 3-0 RMC lead, as it was Schmitt getting home. Once Jack Bowles (Mechanicsville, Va./Hanover) walked, Zach Stolze (Towson, Md./Loyola Blakefield) let a single fly to left, driving Duff in for a 4-0 lead. The Yellow Jackets batted around the lineup and earned a 5-0 lead, after an infield single from CJ Chatterton (Rockville, Md./Georgetown Prep) pushed Bowles across home. In his second at-bat of the inning, Quici walked to load the bases before another walk from Wernoski forced Stolze home for the 6-0 cushion.
- James Baffone (Wilmington, Del./St. Mark's) started the bottom of the third with a walk, before stealing both second and third. Once Chatterton followed with a walk and a steal of his own to put runners on second and third, Wernoski tattooed a single up the middle to register two RBI and an 8-0 lead for his team.
- In the top of the fourth, the Royals used a leadoff double and a fielder's choice to get their first run of the game across.
- With two outs in the bottom of the fourth, Bowles walked before Stolze was hit by a pitch. Once a wild pitch sent them to second and third, Baffone walked to load the bases. Chatterton went on to draw four consecutive balls for a walk, forcing Bowles home for a 9-1 lead. Much like Chatterton, Quici drew a walk of his own to put Stolze home, earning a 10-1 advantage.
- The Royals got singles from their eight and nine hitters before an infield single that loaded the bases for the visitors. A base hit up the middle drove the second Royal run of the day home, closing the deficit to 2-10 in the top of the fifth. They were able to make the score 3-10 as a result of a fielder's choice.
- With two outs in the bottom of the fifth, Duff drew a walk before a single from Bowles moved the catcher to third. Thanks to a wild pitch from EMU, Duff was able to score and Bowles was able to scamper to second, generating an 11-3 lead.
- In the top of the seventh, the Royals got runners on the corners after back-to-back singles. A sacrifice fly to deep left saw the Royals get another run, putting the score at 4-11.
- The Yellow Jackets responded in the bottom of the seventh, as both Wernoski and Bullock walked. Then, Duff took the first pitch he saw and launched it over the left field fence, walking off the first contest, 14-4.

How It Happened in Game 2:
- Quici started game two with a leadoff walk in the bottom of the first, before a single from Wernoski moved him to second. Once Schmitt got his first hit of the day with a well-placed bunt to load the bases, Duff ripped a sacrifice fly to center, giving RMC the early 1-0 lead. Then, Justin Lanouette (Chantilly, Va./Freedom) reloaded the bases with a walk, allowing Bowles to drill a two RBI single down the right field line, extending the lead to 3-0. Stolze kept the line moving with a single to left, driving Lanouette in for the 4-0 advantage. After Elias Brooks (Glen Allen, Va./Glen Allen) was hit to again fill the bases, Quici walked again to force Bowles home, pushing the lead to 5-0.
- The scoring resumed in the bottom of the fourth, as Quici was hit by yet another pitch before he ran to third after a single from Wernoski. After working a full count, Schmitt got an RBI single as a result of a single on the left field line. Up 6-0, the Yellow Jackets surged ahead to 8-0, thanks to the hot bat of Duff, who laced a triple to the right-center gap. Lanouette then was hit by a pitch and stole second to put two in scoring position for RMC. Bowles followed with a walk of his own to load the bases, allowing Duff to score thanks to an EMU wild pitch. Then, some aggressive baserunning from Lanouette allowed him to score on a Baffone ground ball, putting the score at 10-0. Brooks then came to the plate and hustled for a double to center, driving Bowles in for the 11-0 cushion.
- In the top of the sixth, the visitors used a double to get a quick runner in scoring position. EMU followed with a single, earning their first run of game, before another single put the count at 2-11. The Royals then used another single and a fielder's choice to work the game to 4-11.
- In the bottom of the sixth, RMC saw Lanouette single to left and Bowles bunt on to first, getting two runners on with no outs. Jordan Hill (Norfolk, Va./Granby) took advantage of a pinch-hit opportunity, as he used a sacrifice fly to push Lanouette home, making the score 12-4.
- EMU earned three runs back in the top of the seventh, as they first got two runners on with two consecutive singles. Then, two singles and a long ground ball in the outfield saw the Royals get three more runs, closing the gap to 7-12.
- To stop the momentum, Quici drove a triple to right before Wernoski got hit on the first pitch in the bottom of the seventh. Once Schmitt came back from a tough count to load the bases, Duff got a sacrifice fly to get into center, permitting Quici to score for the 13-7 lead. Then, a double down the left field line from Bowles increased the score to 14-7, as it was Wernoski crossing the plate.
- Both Hill and Brooks were hit by pitches in consecutive at-bats to get runners on for the Yellow Jackets in the bottom of the eighth. Then, a fielder's choice from Caleb Hawton-Henley (Fairfax, Va./St. John's Prep) allowed a Wernoski single to drive Brooks in, extending the advantage to 15-7. Then, Schmitt game up in the clutch, as he tallied a single to the right-center gap, which pushed Hawton-Henly and Schmitt home, icing a 17-7 win.
