JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. - Randolph-Macon men's golf was led by an impressive tournament performance by
Charlie Wilkerson (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) and finished 26th as a team at the Jekyll Island Intercollegiate.
Wilkerson finished his weekend with elite play, firing a -1 (71) in the third round. The sophomore ended the tournament at -5 (211) to finish 17th overall as an individual. Wilkerson finished the day with three birdies and pars on 13 holes.Â
Kole Kohut (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) had himself a positive finish to the tournament, shooting +2 (74) in the final round. The sophomore ended the day with three birdies, pars on ten holes and completed his weekend with a score of +10 (226). Â
Joseph Winston (Richmond, Va./Douglass Freeman) finished the day with a score of +5 (77) with two birdies and pars on nine holes. The freshman completed his weekend at +16 (232).Â
Ty White (Emporia, Va./Greensville County) ended the day with a score of +7 (79) with a birdie and pars on 11 holes. The sophomore ended his weekend at +15 (231) for the Yellow Jackets.Â
Carter Chapin (Seaford, Va./York) completed the third round with a score of +12 (84) and ended the weekend at +22 (238).Â
